Description The main purpose of this activity is to establish a web-based IWRM portal for effective information dissemination and data collection, based on the SDG 6.5.1 assessment methodology. The portal will serve as the connecting platform to reach out to the public (as one of the proactive IWRM awareness campaign), to enable a systematic IWRM data collection system for effective monitoring and reporting mechanisms, from all participating agencies, as well as to optimise the information collected for public accessibility. An additional activity focused on strengthening capacities of key stakeholders in maintaining and feeding the IWRM portal. The Malaysian Government will fund the utilization of IWRM platform through the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID). DID has been appointed as the system's custodian and is responsible for the IWRM platform in the future.
