Description Design and undertake capacity buidling program in 5 cities at same time, with the aim to reduce NRW, to increase coverage and improve financial performances of the PDAM.
The project triggered the transformation of PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang from a struggling PDAM into one of the most performing Indonesian PDAMs and among the fastest growing ones in ASEAN. Between 2004 to 2009, coverage increased from 43% to 83%, equivalent to 300.000 additional people connected to pipe network. Furthermore, the NRW was reduced from 68% to 38% in 3 years.
